The experimental results show that Miscanthus X Giganteus is suitable for gasification. About 1.1N.m3.kg-1 (biomass)of gahaiqi are obtained, with H2content higher than 40% and about 25% of CO by volume.

Steam and oxygen-blown gasification of AHR were additionally investigated in a batch gasifier at KTH in Sweden. Steam promoted the formation of hydrogen (25vol%) and methane (14vol%) improving the gas heating value to 10MJ/m 3, below the typical for steam gasification due to equipment limitations.

21/3/2016 · The study shows the feasibility to promote biomass steam gasification in a dense fluidized bed reactor with CO 2 sorption to enhance tar removal and hydrogen production. It also proves the efficiency of CaO-Ca 12 Al 14 O 33 /olivine bi-functional mahaiqials to reduce heavy tar production. Experiments have been carried out in a fluidized bed gasifier using steam as the fluidizing medium to improve hydrogen production.
